Started again on my workout regime.....

I am currently going to the Rec Center at A&M for working out. The Top Level has a running/jogging/walking/passout Track. 4 1/2 times around is a mile. Second level has Stairmaster type machines, from Climbers to Eliptical Starmasters and Rowing Machines. First level has everything plus the Olympic Swimming Pool, Nautilis, Free wieghts, Basketball courts etc....

Yesterday I weighed in at 215lbs. I knew I was out of shape so I was looking for 4 1/2 laps to kill me off. Soooo I started my first lap walking. Then alternated to a jog on the second lap. For some reason I forgot that I was supposed to go only 4 1/2. I ended up going 10 laps for a little over 2 miles. Alternating between walking and jogging.... Final was 5 walked laps and 5 Jogged Laps. Impressive for a fat out of shape dude. LOL

I then went down to the second level and started in on the Eliptical Stairmaster and went for 30 minutes on Hill Climb Mode. At 16 minutes I was about to quit but stayed on it to the end. Total Calories burned was 487, at least that is what the machine said. LOL By looking at my shirt you would think I had burned off 200000 calories.

And again today as with all the times I have started working out. I ended up weighing 1/2 a lb more this morning. LOL Must be some water retention and muscle buildup.

I feel good though. One of the first times in a while that I felt good stretching out in bed before getting out to feed the cats. :)

Workout Progress

Ok I went to the Gym with a friend and we did a simple workout since he hasn't worked out for years.

I didn't run laps as I wanted but did get almost a Mile in. What I did do was another 30 minutes on the stairmaster machine. 5 Minute cool down. Total Calroies burned was just over 500..... 507 to be exact, or what the machine said I burned off.

Today I plan on going back and doing 25 minutes or Stairmaster and then jogging as many laps as I can until my friend gets done.

Look for tomorrow's post on my progress.

Lost another lb from yesterdays workout and I haven't eaten all that bad today. Wish me luck. :)

Workout.... Hmmmmm

Ok.... I get tired of this but it happens and I will keep up on it.

I worked out last night and pushed my endurance a little and it paid off in one big sweat ball... Me. :)

10 laps for over 2 miles. I walked a total of 3 1/2 laps and jogged 6 1/2. Laps 6,7 and laps 9,10 were jogged without stopping.

I then proceeded to the Eliptical Stairmaster. Went for 35 minutes straight. 30 of it was the programed plan and the last 5 minutes was the computer controled cooldown. 507calories burned.


Good news is I felt like I had accomplished something.... Bad news is what happens to me when ever I start working out. I loose a couple pounds the first week, then I gain a couple. I know didn't eat bad last night, but I did have a lot of water, so I am pretty sure it is that. We will see tomorrow morning when I weigh-in.

Workout Update....:)

Didn't get a good workout yesterday. I was working out with a friend that doesn't have the stamina that I do when it comes to pushing the envelope yet. Sooooooo... I did 35 minutes on the Eliptical Stairmaster and 3 laps around yesterday.

Weighed in this morning the same weight as yesterday so that is a positive sign I guess. :)

I am hoping to make some good progress this weekend when I start hitting some of the Nautilus Machines this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed.

Workout.....

Ok I worked out again for the forth day in a row at the Rec Center.

Time to turn it up a notch....

I increased my jogging laps ratio. I went 10 laps and jogged 6 1/2 of them. Next time I jog it will be Jog 2 walk one, jog 3 walk one jog 3. Once I get that done I am now going to go down to the Gym area and start in on the Machines. I may end up walking home after that due to issues in how long a workout should last.

Sooo.. Weighed in today. Lost 1 lb. from 1.5 I gained the other day. Must be water retention after I get home and suck down the ice tea.

Oh Yeah... It continues...

Worked out Yesterday..... Results I want Results.....

10 Laps... Walked 1, Jogged 3, Walked 1, Jogged 3, Walked 1/2 lap, Jogged 1 1/2 Laps. Soo total was Walked 2 1/2 laps, Jogged 7 1/2. Progressing nicely.

Started the Nautilus Machine workouts.... Yesterday I just started the Leg routine... Yes I have a ways to go. I am sure I will get there.. Worked 4 machines for my legs and one for my abs.

Weighed in this morning. Lost 2 lbs, from gaining 2 this weekend. Soooo.. Right now I am 1/2 a lb less than last week. Good progress.. :)

No Workout for last night....

I didn't workout last night. Wasn't feeling the best.... but I did loose another lb last night. Wooohooooo!!!!

Marching to the tune of workout...

Went yesterday... Made progress in working out not weight... :(

It isn't all bad news..

Weighed in today.. no gain, no loss.. hmmmm

Laps = 10 laps Walked 1st, Jogged 7, Walked 1, Jogged 1 = Walked 2 total, Jogged 8 Total.

Weigh Machines... Legs and Abs.

Another Day.... Another 2 1/4 miles

Wash, Rinse, Repeat from yesterday. :)

Same mileage

Same workout plus some shoulder work.

Weight.. +.5 lbs. I know it is water gain cause I drank a lot when I got home last night. Good news is that I know it is working, because I can feel the soreness in my muscles from my legs to my stomach and shoulders. One more day then a day of rest.

No workout last night...

Didn't work out last night cause my muscles were still hurting bad from the night before.

Didn't gain anything or loose anything. Will return on Saturday for the normal workout.

No workout last week...

I didn't work out last week, but I did happen to loose the 3 lbs that have been hanging on for so long. This morning I weighed in at 210... That is 10lbs lost so far from when I arrvied back from vacation on June 12th.

More work to come but I think I have finally gotten my body to start using the stuff stored in my body for energy.
