This is a scene I created a while back when I was playing Star Wars Galaxies and was interacting with objects like this in the game. I made this in Lightwave 3D and am now learning some basics again, since I have forgotten some commands over the last two years that I haven't used it in.

I'll be working on new content soon since I am working in a newer version of Lightwave now.

Starting up Lightwave after more than two years. I am going to need to go through a lot of beginner books again to remember a lot of the things Lightwave can do, but I am sure I'll be back in the saddle soon. You may see some pictures of projects I have worked on before, but this time I should move beyond them quickly.

Here is a test render on my machine at home. A Metal Ball and a Clear Plastic cube sitting on a table that has a bevel into it.

Here is another Dude I drew while waiting for the last 20 minutes of my late shift. Was sooo lonely I decided to pull out the Action Cartoon book and learn a little more about drawing cartoon type characters. Well here he is..

Tried more drawing to get comfortable and to learn more ways to draw stuff. Today it was lessons on Eyes. I saw the examples and then drew what I saw in relatively short periods of time.

Still working on how to draw and the ability to look at something and then draw it. Did two more sketches from a webpage while bored out of my head. Simple but fun.

I just realized that I had scanned the images from my drawing lessons and had put them on usb stick. Here are some of the images with some comments as to what they are.

This is a basic drawing that my friend drew for me to allow me to see the perspective of preportions.

This one is from my first lesson with Mike. He drew a little, then explained how I should draw it. I think we finished this guy off in 15 minutes.

This drawing is from one of the books I bought that has weapons and vehicles in it. I just turned to a page and started drawing a woman freehand. Not good but not really terrible either. Should get better as time goes on.

Here is the first image of many, I hope. Lightwave on a begining tutorial to teach myself some basics that I have forgotten since I haven't used it in so long.

I thought I would just share with you what this model should look similar to when it is done. Here is a finished image from one of the guides I am using to make this one.
