Well, today I woke up and looked at the latest news, as I always do from my robe and computer monitor. Nothing new and striking in the world other than the War on Terrorism.

I talked to Shannon today and asked her why she told me that she was just going out for a cigarrette, when it was obvious that she had plans to go out eat and see a movie with her sister and daughter. She claimed it was all on the spur of the moment. One moment she was there then the next she was gone without coming inside to say that they were leaving. Hmmmmm..... Not much consideration there, especially when I asked if she wanted to go out to eat with me 30 minutes earlier. We will see what happens tonight.

Well I am at work now and will try to get this working on the main Spacemanbob website. Hopefully it will upload ok.

Well, Well, Well...... What do we have here. I just read on Nvidia that they have a 128 meg video card and beats Radeons 8500 by 71 percent. But you know what...Radeon just came out with its own version today also. Now both companies are selling 128 meg video cards and they are both around $350.

I might have to get one when I get my income tax check. Wooohoooo!!!!

As a Network admin, I sometimes hate my job.

When everything is working fine like it should be, things are great. When things go wrong, they usually aren't too easy to fix. Today is one of those days. DHCP didn't want to install on a 2000 Server and then when we uninstalled it or removed it from the add/remove programs area, it took with it all the sharing capabilities that all the Macintoshes use in the department. Needless to say I have no experience with Mac's and it took me about 3 hours to finally figure out what when wrong. Now things are back to normal and I will be comfortable in my knowledge for the evening.

Well it is now Saturday and my webpage seems to be working again. It was up and down due to some server issues that I am not familiar with. But what the hey, it is up now.

My relationship keeps on the rocky road again. I came home and asked if anyone wanted to go out to eat. All I got was a single point to a bag of chips in her hand. Then it was all downhill after that.

Tabitha once again hasn't cleaned up her mess in the kitchen. Nothing new there. So I cleaned it all up today. Wonder how long it will be before she starts dumping dirty dishes in it again and not cleaning a thing up. Time will only tell.

I am at work now trying to salvage a computer from Compaq. I hate these systems. They format their hard drives with 1023 cylinders, so you can't ghost them to another drive. Once again another reason why I hate pre-built computers from companies. I am trying to reinstall the operating system from the options directory so we will see what happens.

Did I say I like Blogger. Boy oh boy do I like it.

Another day another thought.

My prized X-Files Coffee Mug is now missing. I am mad but I will get over it if it doesn't come back. I may have to call Dana to put a search out for it. How things disapear in this house is beyond me. It was next to the sink one day and now no one knows what happened to it. Hmmmm... I think someone dropped it and broke it, and is afraid to tell me about it.

My plans for today are to work on a computer for someone, and to get a BBQ Pit if the price is right. If things go well, I may go to the mall and get a sound machine to put by my bed so I can fall asleep since no one else wants to turn the TV off or go to bed at night.

I'll update as the day goes by.

Well, the mystery of the X-Files Mug has been solved. Seems that someone put it in the hallway near Tabitha's and Daves room. Hmmm... Oh well, at least it is back in the sink soaking now.

As for the BBQ. I decided not to get it today. I am going to wait a while to see if the price drops a little. When it was 189 I would have gotten it, now they raised it to 219.

I am probably going to see a movie today, not sure which one though. Either I am going to see "Black Hawk Down" or "Mothman." I'll let you all know what it was.

I got another game for the X-Box today, called Nightcaster. It is pretty good, but it sure looks like you will need a lot of practice in it to complete anything.

Did I say I like Blogger. Weeee. I love it.

Welp, once again things are going crazy. Now no one wants to throw away used tiolet rolls. They just leave them on the dispenser and now, they are leaving them on the sink. Total Tiolet rollers in the bathroom now is 3. It's not like the trash can 1 foot away from the dispenser. How hard is it to remove the old one and put on the new one.

Ok now that I have that off my chest I am going to talk about some positive stuff. I will be working on some graphics that I have scanned. Hopefully I can do something with these in a short period of time. Most of them are off the wall, so I am not sure where I am going to be putting them as related to web pages.

Well today came and went. I am home now and after playing a little of Ultima Online and World War II online, I am now done with gaming for the night. I dropped off a picture for my friend Dana to pick up from my ftp directory. Hopefully it is wacky enough for him.

On the home front. Shannon hasn't said a word to me all night. Even after I tried to start a conversation about the new Ultima Online upgrade. So nothing has changed on this end.

I plan on making changes to the web site for easier cruising. Right now there are too many links to other pages within pages.

A new game called Eve-Online is getting closer to beta-testing. But nothing has been posted on their site as to when this will happen. Hopefully soon.

I am attending Microsoft Training all this week. I will most likely not be able to update you in morning hours since I will be there till 4pm each day.

I will let you know that I purchased a Digital Cam this weekend with my tax return. I took some preliminary pictures with it of Texas A&M University, and they came out great. I just need something else to take pictures of now. I will change my site layout soon enough to show you my latest pictures. and stuff.

Ok.. I am sore as Hell... I started my get back in shape workout on Saturday.... I am still sore all over. But there is a bright side to all this. I actually got up this morning and jogged a mile and then went 20 minutes on one of those stair master type machines. Maybe by the end of the day I'll be dead from pain.

Also today, I get back in the office and find out that there are at least 20 computers in here that need work. I sure wish the Student Workers would work when I am not here. Oh well, there just students, can't expect much from their schedule.

Tonight I will have a long talk with Shannon and Dave about the living arrangements at the house. I'll let you know about it tomorrow.

Now off to work and to save the Athletics Department from Computer Malfunction. :)

Well... The day came and went..... I had the talk that I wanted to have with Shannon about her staying in the house. Once again she turned it into something different, saying that I had wanted her out of the house for a long time. In the end David(her Brother), also mentioned that they unfortunately would have to move since things are not getting better. So as of now, Shannon is to be looking for a place to live and move out.

I will be updating the web page with a new Cam link to the house when things calm down. It won't be a live stream like before, because COX Cable sucks. It will be a 30 sec refresh, but I will still have the remote cam that you can all move.

Another day...time to get more cat food. :) LOL I woke up today to the nice chorus of both my cats screaming in my ears for food at 6:30am. You know, sometimes I just want to kill these guys for doing that, but after you get up they start rubbing their bodies all over my legs and feet.

I am on a mission today, and that will include going to Wallmart. A dangerous place to say the least. I'll try to control myself and only get the esentials this time. I'll let you know how it goes.

Well today is another day. I forgot to post about my trip to Wallmart yesterday. It was sortta a worth the trip. I got what I needed and then only ended up buying a throw rug for the bathroom.

As for today, I feel great and look forward to the day right now. Hope my mindset doesn't change through the day, but who knows. I'll keep ya posted.

Welp folks... Today is a good day. I actually went out and looked around for Apartments that have internet access built in. And you know what...I found one. :) Not that I can move into it right now. I need to wait till my lease is up in June before I can move.

Now that I am a free man again, I am looking for someone that will ask me out. I am a little burnt out on having to chase women at least for the moment. And based on the last woman I dated, I will most likely ask them to sign a paper saying that what ever technilogical devices I have, will stay mine if things don't work out between us. This is the Second GF that has stolen Computer hardware and other things out of my house while I was at work. Actually, maybe it is just the type of women I have been dating. Hmmmm.... Maybe I should just date women with actual incomes instead of supporting them. Hmmm...

Oh well....I am happy anyways for the moment. If you know anyone out there that is looking for a good guy that won't cheat, steal or lie to a woman, point them my way.

Went out shopping today for a Washer and Dryer. Boy oh boy is there a big selection out there. I ended up getting a pair of GE Washer and Dryer combo. One thing to remember though that Sam's Club does not accept Visa or Mastercard. Only Discover and ATM cards. What a Rip...... Oh well... I am broke now till payday. Thank goodness that isn't to far off. Looks like I will be eating for free at the University Dinning Hall since I can eat there for free. : )

I am hoping that this next week will bring solid sleeping and good work days ahead of me.

And if you want to set me up on a date, I am open to that as long as they don't smoke and have a decent outlook on life. LOL Hows that for being non commital.

Ohhh... Jerry(My Cat) got into another fight today. He chased off one of the many cats out here and then decided to throw up some grass he had eaten from the front yard. yummm... Nah it actually wasn't that bad. He actually threw it up in the catbox so it made for an easy clean up program.

Good morning to everyone.... Oh crap...... I forgot to setup the web camera last night. I'll get it online and working again tonight. Unfortunately I won't have streaming video from it since it eats up too much bandwidth. What I will do is have it set to 1 frame ever 3 or 4 seconds. That should work for most things. :)

Welp.... Time to trot off to the shower. Got to get ready for work as I smell the coffee brewing. WoooHoooo.....

Looking forward to work today. I have been given two web cameras that will be installed at the Baseball Field and one at the Football Field.

Folks... I tried to post on the blogger about how good the web cam was working yesterday, but to no avail. The Blogger was not posting my comments, so I will try today. :)

The Cam is fully functional and has a 5 second delay in sending live images on the remote control page. It was working fine last night and seems to be ok this morning.

Hope you enjoy it as I try to get the sleepies out of my eyes and get ready for work. The Coffee is brewed and smells great. Ahhhhh.. Starbucks in the morning. : )

What the hell..... Last time I checked my Blogger, it hadn't updated from early last morning. Oh well, guess its better to post about something working than nothing at all. Weeeeeee!!!!!!

Friday..... Ahhh it is nice to work for the University some times. I was told to head home at 12pm due to the easter weekend. That was a nice email to get. :) And I get paid for a full days work. Wooohoooo....

I will be taking a trip to Fry's Electronics this weekend. Hope I don't buy anything. I get paid Saturday so it may turn into a shoping spree.

I'll let ya know what I do tonight. Might go out and see the movie Panic Room, but who knows. I'll let ya all in on my adventures later.

Today was a great day to start work.... NOT!!!! Had a virus scanning Server that all of a sudden decide that it didn't want to scan anything. Everything was working fine on the machine and there was no indications that something had gone wrong. Sooooo..... I had to uninstall the stupid program reinstall it and then configure it to see the mail server and the all the other little tweaks that you have to do to it to make it work. ALl this took me from 8am till 11:45am. I finally got it working though and hope that no one else should encounter this. Yuk....

On the light side of things, now I have some free time to scan some images of when I went backpacking. I'll post a few when I get them done.

Another day another beautiful morning. :) Had a great conversation to start out the morning with a special someone that I like. Turned out to be a very good conversation as we both sat at our computers drinking coffee before heading out to work.

As for work.... Sometimes I wish I could wipe out the existing network and just start with a fresh install with no back trash from previous upgrades. Seems like we are having more and more troubles with it then less and less now. I think it all stems from upgrading the main server with a service patch. Oh well....

Ended up buying some airline tickets today. That was fun. I'll take some pictures of where I am going and post some for you to see. I am leaving around April 20th so they should be online in a couple days from then.

Gotta run now. More computers need attention. Weeeeeeee

My parents are finally coming out to see me this weekend. It's been 7 months so it will be good to see them to say the least.

As for work, I have a busy plate today. Lots of upgrades to get out and installed for some people today. I'll see if I can get ya some more information later.

2010 is a bad year for Los Angeles. I think a Huge earthquake will hit it then. Not sure what month, all I know is what I had a dream about and it was really realistic and seeing that date stuck in my mind.

I am moving around some of the computers in my place. What this means is that the web cam is offline till Wednesday at the latest. I should have it up and running by then. I am also toying with the idea of having it in a different spot in the house so it won't be staring straight into Daves face while he is playing on his puter. But all in all the cam should be up before Wednesday night.

I have been attending a Computer Class on some networking stuff. Boy is it fun. LOL.... The setup is crashing every other exercise we do, and the instructor is ready to commit suicide. Turns out it is the office network that is causing all the problems. The place we are using for this class has offered to give us two free days of training after they fix what is messing up the network.

You would think that since each person is spending 2K on this one week class that they would have their network all straightened out for all 7 of us. But NooooooooooO!!!! We get to pull our hair out, thinking that we did something wrong when performing the exercise, to then find out that once again it is their network that is messing things up.

Well at least it was free and the state is paying for it. When the class works it is great. Being a Network Admin really makes for a fun time sometimes.

News Update....

I am now on day three of the Buff Bob Program. It is working so far. I have lost two pounds in three days and I expect more to drop off the coming week. It is after this initial water loss that I will start to see a better me in the mirror but that will take some time.
Right now all the muscles hurt in my body.....well not Every Muscle. LOL

I am planning on finally make some changes to the web page this weekend. I will get rid of the adventures section and replace it with a full Blogger web page. The Misc Shots will turn into Latest Outings. and will feature the long awaited pictures of where I work and other stuff.

I am now on Day 4 of my workout program and my body is killing me, but I keep moving up with endurance and weights. I guess this is a good thing, but it sure doesn't feel good right now. I am just sore all over. Once I get in shape though these aches and pains should go away and the real work will begin. I expect it to take another two weeks of feeling like this before I start to get used to it.

Information Update

Yes I am still on my Buff Bob Program. This makes it a week straight that I have been working out. Not all of it straight. I had some cold bug or something Thursday night and didn't get back to the Gym till Sunday, but out of Sunday to Sunday, I have been there 5 times out of 8 days.

Wish me luck, one of these days I will see some difference, but I know it will probably take at least two more weeks before I start seeing anything happening.

btw: Still looking for that Busty GF. :) Actually any GF at this point. LOL

Workout Update...

Well, my endurance is going up as far as my workout is going. I am now jogging a full mile, walking an 1/8th and then jogging for another Half mile. After that I hit the Stair Master Machine for 20 minutes on Level 9 mode with a modifier of 3. By the end of this, my shirt is 100% soaked 3/4's of the way down. Then I hit the Workout machines and do at least 2 to three sets of reps on each major muscle group. This all takes around 2 hours to complete.
Last night I finished and didn't feel like crawling into a corner to sleep. This morning is a different story though. I felt my stomach muscles and boy do they hurt.

Well, this is the daily update on the Bob Workout program. I should be taking Friday and Saturday off since my body needs a couple days off to recover. I also think that maybe next week I will start to notice some changes for the better in my body.

Now that doesn't mean I will look any better looking in the morning when I wake up. I just don't think I will look good in low light with 6 hours sleep. LOL

Yesterdays Update....

I got home, changed into some shorts and a T-Shirt layed down on my bed for a 30 minute nap(6pm) and then woke up at 10pm. Oppsss.. So much for getting my workout in. Today will be a different story. I feel more rested so I will definately be going to work the evil stuff off my body. :)

Being Sick can be fun sometimes, but other times when you have to take medication that makes you forget is not. I am about to take some pills that will once again make me turn into a vegitable all day. Weeeeeeee

Well, I am just about done with this cold and will be going back to the Gym, maybe tonight. I will definately be there tomorrow though and I will keep you updated as to how I do.

In the future I will list the machines I am working on and the weights. And don't laugh at me, cause I am starting at such low weights.

Okie Dokie Folkies....

I guess I have been ignoring you once again. I am all better and will be starting back on the Bob Workout program tonight. To get you back up to speed. I lost 4 lbs while I was on the two weeks workout before I got sick. I weighed myself and I still have the 4 lbs off, good news. I thought I would have to start all over.

On other news. I am working with a professional version of Lightwave 7.5 so I will be posting some of the good 3D renders I make. Look for them.

Well folks I am working on upgrading my WebCam and WeatherStation Computer this weekend. All is going well and I hope to have a majority of the software installed by the evening. I have also moved the webcam to a new location to make sure that my roommate doesn't disconnect the power and point it at the celling .

Things should be back to normal by Monday.

Okay Folks....

Spacemanbob is moving to a new location. Don't worry, I am not going off the air for too long. I am going to be moving into a large house. This will all be taking place tomorrow through the weekend. So most of the time if you see me, it will be at work only.

Once I get things set up at the new place, I am looking at making a Casscading Style Spacemanbob site. Plus I will make some of the pages easier to read.

As soon as it stops raining, I will be putting up my Weather Station and trying to make it work with windows XP. My last attempt was to see if it would work by just copying the data into the freshly created folder, which didn't work. More info on this will be forthcoming.

Wow.. Guess I haven't used the blogger for a while. Lets get in the habit of doing that again.

Yuck. It is 7:20am and it is already hot outside. There are just some things of Texas that I don't like and this is one of them. LOL

On the plus side. I like the people out here.

Sooo... This morning I am sleeping in bed....ZZZzzzzzz....ZZZzzzzzzz.....CRASH BANG.... WTF.. I wake up thinking I heard something outside. Look at the clock. 4:30am Hmmm... Heart is starting to pound....Thinking that I am back in Los Angeles and someone is breaking into my car to steal something..... Get shorts and shirt on..... Put sandals on..... I sneak into the living room and grab my meannie club(axe handle with no axe on it)..... Look out the window and don't see anything..... Sneak to the door.... Turn on light open door quickly and race to my car to jack up anyone with there legs hanging out. (heart is really pounding)... Dammm nothing. Just a grasshopper jumping on my leg(scared the beggezzes out of me). I go back inside and think, what was that sound. So I think. Hmmm.. Backyard. I turn on the light in the porch and look out to the patio. WTF..... Two weird looking metal things are on the patio... Goes outside for further look.... Handle still in hand. So I get out and look at these things. They turn out to be a vent and cover that go on one of the vents on the top of the house. Now I am thinking that what would cause that. But then I hear...buzzzzzz(high pitch) around my ear. Dammm I am outta here. Mosquito's RUN....... Close the door and think..hmmm I'll figure this out in the afternoon.

Now I am up drinking coffee at 6am. LOLOLOL

Well, I have spent a small amount of time working on my project that I got from the Post Office. The Storm Trooper Armor. This weekend I spent a little time building the Helmet, which was one challenge I can tell you. I am glad it is done and over with. Now comes the other part, getting all the other armor to fit correctly. I am also working on making a Star Wars Blaster out of PVC which looks pretty good on paper.

But with no further ado. Here is a picture of the Helmet. And yes, you can't see things clearly out of the lenses. No wonder people had a hard time walking around in them.
