I felt good enough in a long time now that I played a little computer game for the first time in almost two weeks. I am thinking that I have finally gotten over this flu/cold thingy I got. Just a little cough left over but it seems to be fading since I don't need to take any medication to help with the effects I have lingering on. :)
Good news I guess.
I'll load up Lightwave and see how much I have forgotten. Then I will work from where I need to and start posting shots again.
I am getting better, but am now fighting a nasty cough. I hope to be all better by the weekend I hope. Then I will start working on the Viper Project again. There should be nothing stopping me this time. :)
Still fighting this cold off. Not really going to go anywhere today since I don't want to make this cold any worse than it is.
The good news is, that I just saved a lot of money. By switching to Geico. LOL Just kidding. I just reinstalled Lightwave so I will continue working on the Viper Project starting next week.
Yuck.. feel like crap so I think I will just lay on the couch and relax watching some mindless TV. :(
Los Angeles
Yes Los Angeles. I will be posting my thoughts about things in Los Angeles. These posts will be just what I think. I maybe wrong but I maybe right when I post my thoughts. Either way, most of them should be interesting.
As an example. I don't hate LA, but there are some things that I just don't get. Driving in LA. People seem to think that since there are so many cars around, that the cops will never see them doing things illegal, they just decide not to use their signal indicators at all. I have noticed this from the freeways to the city streets. They even get mad when people don't let them in when they just try to push their way into a lane. Then comes the speeding. All the traffic signs are posted everywhere but no one follows the speed limits, and if you do, people honk and flip you off. There seems to be some unwritten law once again that if there are no cops around, you need to travel 20mph over the speed limits.
Now I don't hate people for the way they drive, they just saw other people do it and since there are so few cops around, everyone seems to do it. I personally think they need to have more cops on the roads and freeways and give more tickets out to all the people that do not use their signal indicators and to all the people that think Speed Limits mean nothing. :)
Just a start of many things I will post about.
I know that I probably won't be able to have a work cam, so I may try to set something up where it displays a picture from my Camera phone. Gonna have to work that out but I think I can do it.
I found an issue with the IP of the Remote Cam. I think I have fixed it, so it shouldn't stop working now. :)
The Remote Cam should now be working just fine. No one will be turning it off or manually covering it while I am gone. This way you will be able to see or look for my cats, if they are not sleeping in my bedroom during the day. Feel free to use the arrows. There are three speeds per arrow. The further out you hit on the arrow, the more it will move.
This has been a long time in the making but I finally got this thing setup the way I want it. I will put motion detection on it, to send me emails when there is movement while I am gone. Just having fun with technology. If you are looking for naked people, there won't be any on this cam.
If the cam is covered, that is because I do not want the stream to be going out, but for all other times, it should be on.

I have started the conversion for a lot of links. This is a work in progress so bear with me while I get things up and running. Right now I only know of the North Hollywood Weather page not working. That's because I haven't created the actual page yet. ;)

You should see some changes to my site tomorrow. :)
I will be re-working some pages on my site over the next few weeks. The remote control webcam will be repositioned into the a bigger room so you will have more to look at. Please stay tuned as I work on these changes. All you people in College Station, have no fear, I will not remove the weather page that you use during sporting events. I'll keep it there for you. :)
Lets just say that I know of a certain individual that is slandering my name. This individual has NO IT Manager Experience and NO IT hands on Experience. He claims that he gets things done.... WRONG! He condicends to all his employee's, telling them that they are inferior to his abilities, yet his abilities equal nothing compared to the people working in the IT department. Many a time has he taken me and all of my other staff into private rooms, so no one can see, and then starts to belittle you and threaten you with lies and actual threats. Then he tells you that this conversation didn't take place, so he can conviently tell anyone that you may have told that no such conversation took place. I can name at least 5 events which this took place, where he made a complete idiot out of himself by quoting people and things he had no clue of what he was talking about. This Senior Staff member should be removed from interacting with the IT department for several reasons, but for the main reason that he has no clue on how an IT department needs to run in a real world environment.
Am I perfect,no. Do I always get things done on time, no. Do I admit to my faults, YES!. Does this Senior Staff member admit that, NO!. Does he take credit for everything that gets done, YES! Does he praise his people below him, NO!.
I am just frustrated, to say the least at what he has done, now that I think back on all the years he never let the managers run the department the way it needed to be. He maybe good running Athletic Sports since all he ever was, was a Football Player, but as a technology person, he is a complete failure in not just my eyes, but about 90% of the Athletic Department in A&M and on the Campus as a whole. Mention his name and watch the people Laugh.
These are just my impressions of this individual, I am entitled to them and want to let the world know how I feel working in such conditions.
