Started again on my workout regime.....
I am currently going to the Rec Center at A&M for working out. The Top Level has a running/jogging/walking/passout Track. 4 1/2 times around is a mile. Second level has Stairmaster type machines, from Climbers to Eliptical Starmasters and Rowing Machines. First level has everything plus the Olympic Swimming Pool, Nautilis, Free wieghts, Basketball courts etc....
Yesterday I weighed in at 215lbs. I knew I was out of shape so I was looking for 4 1/2 laps to kill me off. Soooo I started my first lap walking. Then alternated to a jog on the second lap. For some reason I forgot that I was supposed to go only 4 1/2. I ended up going 10 laps for a little over 2 miles. Alternating between walking and jogging.... Final was 5 walked laps and 5 Jogged Laps. Impressive for a fat out of shape dude. LOL
I then went down to the second level and started in on the Eliptical Stairmaster and went for 30 minutes on Hill Climb Mode. At 16 minutes I was about to quit but stayed on it to the end. Total Calories burned was 487, at least that is what the machine said. LOL By looking at my shirt you would think I had burned off 200000 calories.
And again today as with all the times I have started working out. I ended up weighing 1/2 a lb more this morning. LOL Must be some water retention and muscle buildup.
I feel good though. One of the first times in a while that I felt good stretching out in bed before getting out to feed the cats. :)
