Workout....

Yes I am back at it and am now running over two miles to warmup each day. I plan on running 3 miles by the end of the week. Today I ran 10 laps and could have gone one more but I knew I needed to work up to that 13 1/2 laps over a 5 day period.

Worked 5 sets of 20 situps, 3 sets inside legs, 3 sets outside legs, 3 sets leg extensions, 2 sets butterfly, 2 sets row(deltoids), 2 sets inclided bench press, 2 sets tricep, 2 sets bicep.

Walked out tired. :)

I forgot to plug the remote cam back in after I took my shower this morning. I may have to run back home at lunch and do that, to satisfy the cat watchers. LOL

Here is the scoop. I had volunteered to work for a computer gaming event with AMD computers Friday Night and Saturday Morning.... Well it turned into Friday day and night till 11pm and then from 10am-11pm Saturday Night.

We set up 30 AMD64Bit windows systems and Two Servers and hosted a game tournament. The game that they were playing was one called FarCry. It is pretty good as a campaign and as a first person shooter. We joined in for practice rounds and had fun getting blown up along with all the other people. Then the surprise came... At around 9:30pm Friday, the AMD guys asked that had volunteered to sit down and have a shoot out tournament. We had a 5 minute practice round and then we had the real shootout. I usually come in 2nd from last place but I always have fun...But....Today this game, I was doing great. I ended up beating out the other 3 guys by one kill in the final 30 seconds of the game. I was so happy. LOL I got a lot happier with what came next.

The AMD guys gave me a 4000+AMD64bit processor, 256megNvidia Video Card, and 1 gig of ram for the motherboard. I am now frantically looking for a motherboard online so I can make this system scream and try out rendering Lightwave stuff on it.

I am beat but it was a lot of fun. We didn't have a network drop in the room we had otherwise I would have posted pictures and all sorts of stuff.

Workout Update......

Reached a good goal today...

Jogged 9 laps, walked 1, jogged 4, walked 1 = 15 laps. I have to say that lap 8 was pretty hard but once I saw the final stretch of it, I said what the heck to myself, I'll go for 9. Did I say that 4 1/2 is a mile.

Then I did 4 sets of 20 situps, inside legs sets, outside leg sets, leg extensions, Butterfly sets, Rowing Sets, inclined press sets, triceps sets, biceps sets. And yes thats it. My upper chest is starting to hurt with muscles trying to repair themselves.

I may take a day off tomorrow and relax. Friday I am working with computers in the Rec Center so I will have some spare time to workout there if all goes well with the mini-network.

    Okie Dokie.... Workout update again.

Jogged 6, walked 1, jogged 5, walked 1, jogged 2, walked 1 = Total 16 Laps. My laps are increasing which is good. I should be at 9 continuas laps by the end of the week. I didn't even expect to be this far along in my progress but I guess my muscles had some memory left in them from the last time I worked out over 1 1/2 years ago.

Did my usual 4 sets of 20 situps, inside legs, outside legs, leg extensions, butterfly sets, Deltoid(Rowing) sets, Biceps and triceps sets. I add a new machine each day.

Today I feel like going out to the coffee shop but will probably go to Home Depot to look for some washers for some leaking faucets that we have in the house.

Weighed in at 203 today. Wednesday 8am.

Heat In Texas

One thing I don't get is this. It is 100+ degree's here and it is 100+ degree's at the Ocean. Why in the heck would anyone want to take a trip to the beach in the summer time here. You go to the beach to cool off and feel the nice Ocean Breeze. Well not here in Texas. You won't catch me going down there to be just as hot as I am now.

Reason I am stating this is that I have looked at a webcam facing the Ocean and actually see people under Umbrella's soaking up the heat. LOL

Don't understand this and I don't want to go there to try either. At least in Los Angeles, when you go to the beach, it is cooler than the surrounding areas and the water is way cooler than the air. That is refreshing. Just one more reason to move back to the Homeland. LOL

Workout Update......

I actually had reported that it was day 5 two days ago for my workouts. Well not so fast. I was trying to add a day to early. Last night was day 5 and I keep on getting improvement.

Jogged 5, walked 1, jogged 5, walked 1, jogged 2, walked 1 = 15 Laps. It is always a challenge to jog the second set of 5 or more since I just want to stop around the 3 lap. LOL But some how I keep on going. Although I maybe jogging pretty slow I must be increasing my endurance and like I said before, I want to go 13 1/2 laps non stop eventually.
Also did my usual 4 sets of 20 situps, inside, outside, leg extensions, butterfly, bicep curl, tricep pushdowns.

At the end of my workout I stumbled out of the gym and back to the house where I promptly passed out at 9pm at night. Ended up waking up at 4am but just went back to sleep after laying awake for 30 minutes.

Weighed in at 203.5 today. And I know why I didn't loose that whole pound. I'll try to be better today.

Giraffe Update Sunday

As I continue to work on this I gain more and more insight on how to create things. I am enjoying the tutorial that I am following even though my Giraffe isn't looking quite the same as in the book. But who cares. I need to learn this stuff.

Workout Update #5

Today I pushed my limits and did it. Weighed in at 204 so I have lost 4 lbs now since I started working out 5 days ago.

Jogged 4, walked 1, jogged 4, walked 1, jogged 4, walked 1. Total of 15 laps. 13 1/2 is 3 miles. I am now going to focus on jogging up to three miles. I don't need to increase my laps now just endurance. Which is coming along pretty good now. Once I get that down, then I will be working on speed increases.

Once I was done jogging, I went down and did 4 sets of 20 situps, Inside Leg sets, Outside Leg sets, Leg extensions, butterfly sets, and bicep set curls.

Good Progress I think. Just have to keep my daily intake to good food. I should be below 200 by the end of the week.

Day Three...

Improvement but I don't know for how long.

Ran 3 laps, walked 1, ran 3, walked 1, ran 3, walked 1. Total of 12 laps today.
4 Sets of Situps at 20 each, Inside leg and outside leg along with leg extensions and I added 2 sets of butterfly chest sets.

Weighed in at 205, so I am on the decline. Just need to stay the course and not go overboard eating or drinking beer. LOL

      Lost a pound from yesterday.

Was 208..... now 207.

(UPDATE)
Just came back from the Gym. Ran a total 7 out of 10 laps today. A major improvement from yesterday. I jogged 2, walked 1, jogged 3, walked 1, jogged 2, walked 1. Then I did 4 sets of situps at 20 each, outer thigh sets and inner thigh sets and leg extension sets.

We had some storm activity and I managed to get a good shot of some lightning. Here it is. I am glad we had the storm cause it was almost 90 degree's outside before it hit. Now it is 68 degrees. Maybe we will stay cool tonight. :)

Yep... After trying to watch my weight just by eating differently I have now decided to kick start my body into loosing weight the hard way. Excersise. LOL Heading to the Gym now.... May pass out after this initial workout.


Update............ Just got back from the Gym. Jogged one lap walked one for a total of 8 laps which is 1 lap short of 2 miles. Boy am I out of shape. It is going to take me a little longer than I thought to get back to even jogging a mile without doing the walk a lap thing.

Giraffe Update

Here is a latest update to my Giraffe Tutorial. It isn't looking the same way as in the book but then again it probably won't since I looked at too many Giraffe pictures on the net and made a few adjustments to it. In the turtorial they want it to look cartoonish all the way. I just want the head to look more like a giraffe and will make the body more cartoonish when I get to it. Which will be pretty soon. Here is a wireframe and I will try to post a more 3Dish looking picture right after this one.
