I'll get posting about stuff in a couple hours. I have been on a trip to see my kids out of town. Was great seeing them again. :)
Later peeps. :)
I have started work on a new page on my site. This is a weather page for Long Beach, California where I lived and where my friends live. I miss the weather there and just love breathing the ocean air in the morning.
Right now it only has a webcam image that refreshes every minute on it, but in the future I will add other graphs and charts to get a better daily and monthly view of the area. I may even try to find a webcam that you can operate.
Other projects I may start might be a San Diego Weather Page for my parents.
You may ask why am I doing this...... Well I am doing it because usually when I get to a weather page, it doesn't have some information in a well laid out format. I create these pages so I don't have to click on link after link to see the overall area I am focusing on.
Oh btw the link is right under the College Station Weather link.
This 3d Model is so cute but once again we know it is just a 3D Model. LOL

I like the feel to this CG image. He looks so sad though. Not like he wants to take over the world.

HighResolution of the boxes I posted a week ago
Someone asked me to post the boxes I made in a higer resolution. So here you have it. They will be in a pop-up window going to 1280x1024
I updated the Weatherpage for Long Beach,CA. I picked that spot because I have friends there and it is the only place where I could find active Webcams that don't turn off because the user forgot to reboot their machine. LOL
I added some Animated Radar and Fronts coming through. I am looking around for some basic daily forcast to paste into there but I can't find any without having to go through some major decoding. I'll get some soon.
I made a few Spaceship renders based off of what I learned for making a 1 minute ship. This ship was made in about 1 minute and then I just rendered it with some different materials. Basically wanted to see if I could remember how to do it without opening my tutorial book again.

It seems that I have on some Italian Anti-Gravity Boots. Take a look here.

CGTalk has a weekly contest of sorts to post your drawings and images of topics that they think up. The topic that caught my eye was "It doesn't normally have wings". Soooo before I left for work since I was feeling a little down anyways, I posted this quicky. Took me 40 minutes. If I had my tablet connected it would have looked better but I didn't.

Yes....It might go up tonight or tomorrow. Since we now have higher bandwidth I am going to see if I can get this done.
Tomorrow is a good day it seems.
I am heading to the Annual Visual Arts Show here on Campus at Texas A&M. My last student worker that was working on a project for us landed a job at Pixar. This year I want to see what demo reals they have and all the neat things going on in the department. Always like this type of stuff.
I'll be home after that working on some 3d Modeling or setting things up for the Remote Control Cam.
Cya later.
I have finally gotten the Remote Control Cam Back Online!!!!! Yipppieee...
It isn't as cool as it was since the company that used to support it hasn't come out with a new Java Cab for it and doesn't plan to either. Soooo..I ended up doing a 5 second refresh and the remote control still working when you hit the places you want to go. It is back online.
Just check out the link on the left side of the my page by the other webcam images. Have fun.
Update #2
I also figured out why my Wind Direction wasn't working. The cable going to the solor power panel had broken off. Now that its all fixed we will now have wind reports for the weatherpage.
Update #3
I added a live Video Feed to San Diego on the Long Beach,CA link on the left side of my page. Only bad part is it automatically shuts down at dusk, but who wants to look at a black screen after dark anyways.
Have fun everyone.
I have them on my mind so I am now working on a working model. :)

I have no clue why I thought of this tonight but I did and I am now going to make them dammit. LOL

Update#4
I made a Quick Render just to try and see if they looked like a boot. I still have a long way to go and things to add to them in order for them to look like Gravity Boots. Enjoy for now.

Here is an update. I went back a few steps to get some things looking better.

I may end up coming home from work and going to sleep if I don't feel better soon.
Nice. :)

Saw this image today on CGTalk.com and I had to show it to you. This is a lovely render of a nature scene.

I made some changes to the clock on the main Blog Page. I encoded a time zone setting so it will display what time it is in my part of the world when you are visiting. Hope this works. Let me know if it doesn't.
Been pretty busy these past few weeks. I have been sick(not deathly but just out of it) for a week and now I am trying to get ready for my parents to come out. I will try to update things here but plan on me not updating things for a week next week.
Unless you never plan on seeing it, I would suggest never reading any review to see if they like it or not. I have now started three articles that opened with a review. That isn't bad but in the last two sentences at least of each review I have accidently read Spoilers for the whole movie. Now I know three things that I never would have ever expected and will no longer be suprised by them when I do watch the movie.
In fact I think I will never read a review of a movie again. I'll just find a site that has a star rating system and see if it is good that way or not. But then again, I'll miss out on the b movies that sometimes have great twisted plots that I like so much.
I guess I'll just drink heavily and do some mind altering drugs(Like I have any LOL) and see the movie as if it were me taking part of it.
Ever take a bunch of pictures thinking that you would then paste them back together to make a panoramic image to show people how wonderful a view was. Well I know I have, and I never get the images to line up right to the point of messing the whole thing up after an hour or so.
I found a free program on the net called Autostitch that takes all your images and puts them in order and spits out a completed image in a matter of minutes. Here is a quick sample.

AutoStitch after it completed the process. Absolutely Amazing

Here is the link for AutoStitch
I am fat..... Or I have gotten overweight again and I am starting to cut back on what I eat and the amounts I eat. Look for a leaner Spacemanbob in the next month. I'll keep you updated on the weight I have lost each week. Good or bad I will post it. :)
Just a note to other people. .. See if you can go to www.westland.net and see if their site is up and running. I can't seem to get to their pages anymore.
The people I distrust most are those who want to improve our lives but have only one course of action.

Here is another incredible image from an artist at CGTalk.com. How they do this stuff with just Photoshop is amazing to me.

Someone keep an eye out on my site beside me... LOL Latest Web Cam Images..LOL I am heading out to see my kids for a while. I should be back online and back to work by the end of the week. Cya
Here is a cool looking UFO and the pattern on it makes you think of a camoflage feeling.

Not fun I can tell you. This is the first time I have gotten this and I don't like it. My eyes are swollen almost shut and they hurt like someone dumped sand into them. The good news is that I have seen a doctor and they have perscribed some Cipro Eyedrops to clear this Pink Eye problem up.
All I can say is that I hope non of you get this. At least I can see now. LOL
Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
