Boy what a mess. I got the game in the mail today, ripped it open, installed it and then proceeded to pull my hair out.
It took me 45 minutes of hitting the back buttons and reloading the starting login screens to finally get registered. What a relief. Then I get in to the server list to see a whole bunch of servers to choose from. Nice. I log in to a server create a character and proceed to take a tutorial(which I had taken in beta) just to see if things have changed. Nope they didn't. It is a nice Tutorial for beginners.
Plop... The shuttle puts me on Naboo and I proceed to see if there are any other people on the server in the city I am in. Nope. Not a soul. I then find some trainers and train up Marksman and Novic Medic so I can heal myself. Run to the bank and deposit the last 100 credits I have. By the time I finished about two hours later, I had accomplished the task of raising some basic skills to be trained. The only problem is to find someone to barter with so I can make some money to train with. No luck Still no one on the server. The day roles on at work.....
5pm sounds and I am out of there like a bolt of lightning. Bang Zoom... I head home. Install the game at home and then get in the game. I get to play for about an hour and then things start happening. The server crashes. I say ok figures... They pushed the launch date a little too early.
It is now 11pm and all the servers are turning off and on like xmas tree lights. The chat support rooms are loaded with 800 people plus all yelling What the Hell????
This is a sad launch day for SWG. Poor planning made this turn into a flop when it could have been such a good thing if the servers were stable enough to let people play and create their persona's.
Here is a picture of the opening animation.

David Raynes: I am just a figment of my own imagination.
Well here I go in seeing if I can monitor a blog on someone elses site.
I have allowed anyone to start Trackback on any of my posts. Here are the links to them if you want to watch a certain topic.

I need information on how to learn CSS. Yes I know you can look at some peoples sites but it doesn't help me. Is there a web utility that allows you to make pages with CSS that is WYSIWYG format.
If you read this and know what I am talking about please comment. Thanks.

WYSIWYG? what you see is what you get...very popular for desk top publishing...however only the archoligists of my home home planet would be able to help you out and no doubt after they filled your brain with that knowledge (kind of like putting soy sauce on rice) they would comsume you. HAR HAR!
Ahh, and space man, we have more 'thing' in common, I too enjoy a lass with large parzecs in her frontal area...ahhhh

Sometimes I think about some of the previous dates I have been on. I can only blame myself for this but I have grown to like it. All of my first serious relationships have been with women with large chests. It's not that I was looking for that since most of the blind dates I was set up on happened to be that way. Well one thing leads to another and now I have grown to like that in a woman.
And no I don't talk to their chests, I talk them straight in the eye or look at other parts of their body since I know there is more to a woman that just her chest size. I think that if I had to start all over I would have probably chosen to date more of a mix if I had known. But what can I say. I am older now and love it when a women rubs up close on me with those things. And if I am slow dancing don't expect me to walk away from the dance floor anytime soon. LOL
These are just some thoughts of the day, and more will come out over time as I think about Love and Romance.
There is more to love than just it being one way, and that is how it has been for me on the last two relationships. I have tried to give love but the woman just won't return it in kind, and then when asked about it, they say they don't have any feelings for me but don't tell me to get lost either. What a shame.
Star Wars Galaxies is ready to Launch tomorrow. So I log on to the test server this morning and get another final patch. I launch the game and it is soooooooo F'd up.. Here is a screen shot. 1 Million small animals all outside of the spawn point to a town. All fighting each other. Yeah this game is ready for release.
LOL You'll die laughing.

Oh and here is a screen shot of something they foxed so women can't do this anymore. Now they make women lay their legs down when they sit down.

I have just gotten the parts to build my Two processor system. When it is done it will be a dual 2.5gig system. Now some programs I have will work a lot faster since they like more than one processor.
I should be finishing this up on the weekend so stay tuned for the results.

Is this friaz copey righted
Just saw the new Star Wars Galaxies into opening to the game. Looks and feels like Star Wars, but this time you are part of the experience. I think this game will become a standard for a while to come. Hopefully they will work on the issues they have with it. And I am sure they will.
Another late day at work and things look good. That is compared to the email server I am working on. More and More of it is falling into place. I like it when that happens.
Here is a picture I made in Lightwave of some Star Wars Imperial Cruisers
Well that is all for today from work. Cya at home whenever that happens.
Well today I am going to be working on an Exchange Email Server with some technical Support helping me.
Hope everything goes well.

Well, the Exchange Server is up and running now. Seems to be working just fine now and i will finally be able to get things configured the way they want them.
When I get a handle on this new format, you will see the links that I had before come right on back. Hope you stick around for that. I will. :)
I didn't expect to have to learn CSS this way. Guess there is no better time than now I guess. Edit 1 2
Here is a picture of me at the end of a long day with my Yellow Computer Glasses on. And yes they actually help my eyes. It helps so that I don't feel the need to pull my eyeballs out from all the CRT rays bouncing off them.

Don't worry, I am not nuking the site. I am just retooling it. The links to the site will be coming back on the left side as soon as I learn some css coding and get things set up there. This will be a process but they will come back soon. If you have them bookmarked they should still work until I get to changing them, but then they will show up on my page. here.
Is there a need for a Forum when you have something like this. I guess in some way there is. I'll have to dive deeper into the configuration to see if we can set this up for people to post in here if I haven't.
Well I have had it reading Technical papers on the internet. I am turning up the music and letting it force the neurons to move to the beat.
Ok here we go. I am now at work trying to figure out Exchange 2000. What a mess.
I am going to take a break and just post a picture of something from Star Wars Galaxies.

Well once again the alarm clock didn't work. The cats did the job. Maybe I'll try just using them as the alarm and see what happens.
Well folks time to get some coffee and read the news.

What the hell... Some of these people that are making these so called plugins should have detailed instructions on how to upload them and make them work. I have spent the last hour trying to get a weather plugin to work with it crashing the Blogger command center each time. Thanks but no thanks.

lol I see you feel the same as me regarding MT Plug-ins. It took me a couple of days to figure out that I already had trackback installed though, so I figure I'm just dinky in the brain lol. I think Brad Choate (BradChoate dot com) has some pretty nice plug-ins and he gives a pretty good "how to" and such. :)
And btw thanks for signing my guestmap :)
I am now starting a transformation of the Spacemanbob site to something fresh and crisp looking. No more will there be a menu bar on the bottom. Look for an integrated Blogger and menu options to greet you when you click on the main login window. This will take some time, but I have already started with the Blogger. Hope you like the changes I am talking about.
I am trying out the new w.bloggar tool so I can post straight from my desktop without having to log into my page.

It is coming back. I just need to learn about CSS Webpage layouts is all. :)
No longer am I restricted to the whim's of other blogger boards. I have now moved to a new level and have started my own blogger on my own webpage. HaHA!!!
They thought it couldn't be done. Well I proved them wrong. LOL
Sooo... This morning I am sleeping in bed....ZZZzzzzzz....ZZZzzzzzzz.....CRASH BANG.... WTF.. I wake up thinking I heard something outside. Look at the clock. 4:30am Hmmm... Heart is starting to pound....Thinking that I am back in Los Angeles and someone is breaking into my car to steal something..... Get shorts and shirt on..... Put sandals on..... I sneak into the living room and grab my meannie club(axe handle with no axe on it)..... Look out the window and don't see anything..... Sneak to the door.... Turn on light open door quickly and race to my car to jack up anyone with there legs hanging out. (heart is really pounding)... Dammm nothing. Just a grasshopper jumping on my leg(scared the beggezzes out of me). I go back inside and think, what was that sound. So I think. Hmmm.. Backyard. I turn on the light in the porch and look out to the patio. WTF..... Two weird looking metal things are on the patio... Goes outside for further look.... Handle still in hand. So I get out and look at these things. They turn out to be a vent and cover that go on one of the vents on the top of the house. Now I am thinking that what would cause that. But then I hear...buzzzzzz(high pitch) around my ear. Dammm I am outta here. Mosquito's RUN....... Close the door and think..hmmm I'll figure this out in the afternoon.
Now I am up drinking coffee at 6am. LOLOLOL
